Administration sets for the Alaris® Pump* module and the Gemini infusion system
Latex-free and needle-free compliant
Administration sets are available for use with the Alaris
® pump module and the Gemini infusion systems models PC-1, PC-2, PC-2TX and PC-4. All sets are latex free (unless otherwise noted) and feature the integrated safety clamp mechanism to help prevent accidental free flow. Set configurations are available with the SmartSite
® needle-free valve ports, split-septum needle-free injection ports and standard injection ports.
The administration sets for the Alaris® Pump and the Gemini infusion system offer:
- Ease of use; safety clamp mechanism prevents accidental free flow
- Latex free; removing latex from your IV system reduces the likelihood of an adverse latex reaction for patients and caregivers
- Needle-free compliance; because the SmartSite® needle-free value and the SmartSite® positive bolus valve are activated with a standard male luer, the use of needles is eliminated
