Alaris® SpO2 module
Bringing continuous respiratory monitoring to all patient areas
The Alaris
® SpO
2 module provides continuous, non-invasive monitoring of blood oxygen levels and pulse rate in adult, pediatric and neonatal patients.
The module has a common user interface that reduces training time and programming complexity and includes tabular trend display with alarm icons indicating alarm histories. It provides customizable alarm limits by care area utilizing the Guardrails
® software to help ensure alarms are appropriate for patient and connects to the nurse call system to transmit alarm states.
The Alaris® SpO2 module includes:
- Safety throughout the duration of infusion therapy
- Either Masimo® Signal Extraction Technology® (SET®) or Nellcor® OxiMax technology
- The ability for the clinician to automatically pause a PCA infusion if a patient falls below hospital-defined respiratory limits when used with the Alaris® PCA module
