® needle-free valve bag access port for closed-system access to IV bag for adding or removing fluids.
Drug transport
Attach the Texium™ closed male luer to the end of a syringe.
Drug administration
Attach the Texium™ closed male luer to the end of a syringe and connect to the SmartSite
® needle-free valve y-site port for an IV push or attach the Texium™ closed male luer to the distal end of an infusion set and then connect the Texium™ closed male luer to the SmartSite
® needle-free valve on the patient's intravascular line for IV administration.
