Clinical consulting to help ensure success
Skilled Cardinal Health clinical consultants work with nursing to help ensure that the data set developed by the pharmacy correctly incorporates clinical practice, the hospital's process and procedures and is clinically appropriate. They also facilitate clinician training based on the hospitals unique data set through computer-based basic device training and a self-validation skills lab. In addition to staff-wide training, super user training is also conducted.
Clinical consulting includes:
- Clinical oversight review of unique data set
- Computer-based clinical training; CD-Rom or Web-based
- Skills lab for self-assessed competency validation
- Super user education focusing on trouble shooting and device expertise
