To Assemble Shower Chair

  1. Place seat face down on a table or counter so that the "A" and "B" imprints are facing you. Place the U-bar imprinted with "A" diagonally across the seat in the groove provided. Ensure that the "A" imprinted on the bar is next to the "A" imprinted in the seat. Lay the U-bar imprinted with "B" diagonally across the first U-bar, ensuring that the "B" imprinted in the bar is next to the "B" imprinted in the seat.
  2. Using the medium screw with locking washer and curved washer, place the screw into the center hole through both U-bars and the seat, ensuring that the contour of the curved washer matches curve of the bar. Do not fully tighten.
Caution: Ensure that medium screw is used to secure U-bars to seat. Using large screws may cause damage.
  3. Place long screws with curved washers through the U-bar holes, attaching U-bars to seat. Screw into place, ensuring contours of washers match curve of the bar. Tighten all four long screws, then tighten the medium screw in the middle.
  4. To attach leg extension, push copper button on leg, then slide extension onto leg to desired height. Repeat for all four legs, adjusting to ensure that all legs are the same height and that push buttons are fully engaged.
  5. Place chair upright on even surface and check for stability. Ensure that legs are adjusted to the same height and that all push buttons are fully engaged. Push buttons are engaged when they fully protrude through the holes in the brackets and audible clicks are heard. Periodically check to ensure that all screws are tightened and that feet do not show signs of damage or wear.

To Assemble Shower Chair with Backrest

  1. Place backrest face down on a table or counter with the bottom of the backrest near the edge of the table.
  2. Attach L-bars to backrest, laying the longest end alongside backrest so that holes in bars line up with holes in backrest. Using small screws and washers, place screws into holes, ensuring contour of washers matches curve of the bar. Ensure all screws are fully tightened.
  5. Turn seat so that the side imprinted with "REAR" is near the edge of the table. Place L-bars of backrest over U-bars on bottom of seat, ensuring that holes line up. Place long screws with curved washers through both the L-bar and U-bar into seat and screw into place, ensuring contours of washers match curve of the bar. Do not tighten. Repeat with second L-bar. Tighten all four long screws attaching L-bars to seat bottom, then tighten the medium screw in the middle.
  6. To attach leg extension, push copper button on leg, then slide extension onto leg to desired height. Repeat for all four legs, adjusting to ensure that all legs are the same height and that push buttons are fully engaged.
