Dr. Shea is the Clinical Director for Infectious Diseases for Cardinal Health – Clinical Quality Services Department servicing the US and Puerto Rico.   

She received her PharmD from the University of Connecticut. Following graduation, she completed two years of post-graduate residency training specializing in Infectious Diseases. Her professional experience prior to joining Cardinal Health includes 6.5 years at Seton Healthcare Family as a Network Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist. This position included implementation of an antimicrobial stewardship program throughout the healthcare-system. In her current role as the Clinical Director for Infectious Diseases, she delivers customer value by providing strategies, support activities, and programs to optimize antimicrobial stewardship as well as drug safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness related to infectious diseases.  Dr. Shea is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Texas.  She has contributed to the profession with several publications in peer-reviewed journals, holds membership with national infectious diseases organizations, and speaks for local Texas pharmacy organizations.
