Each year, as part of our continued efforts to improve collaboration between Cardinal Health and our valued manufacturer partners, we ask you for your feedback through the Voice of the Manufacturer (VOM) survey. We value your feedback and partnership, and we spend a significant amount of time analyzing the survey data to understand your responses and where we can make improvements and take on areas of opportunity. Our most recent VOM showed that Cardinal Health was strong in WAC price uploads, account management, and our communication to you, our valued partners. Additionally, our areas of opportunity focused on chargebacks and invoicing reconciliation.
This year’s survey will be sent the first week of April, and we encourage all of our manufacturer partners to take a few minutes to fill out this confidential survey. Thank you again for your partnership and feedback as we work together to serve our mutual customers.
Focusing on the metrics and the goals of the Supply Chain Excellence (SCE) program results in better service to our mutual customers. That better service is also driven by improved communications with you, and our customers. And finally, we focus on improving operational efficiencies throughout the supply chain that benefit you, Cardinal Health and our customers. In this issue of the Centripetal Source we want to focus on the NLC Optimization benefits of the SCE program.
By revising your delivery schedule into the Cardinal Health National Logistics Center, we see reduced inventory exposure, less variable POs, and increases in service levels. Additionally, through optimization, more frequent orders means you get paid sooner, unlocking capital for other business decisions through a quicker order-to-cash cycle. Another benefit is improved Cardinal Health reaction to demand changes, resulting in fewer off-cycle orders. By engaging in initial discussions around NLC optimization, your organization will receive one point, and three points are available when you implement the recommended optimization program.
