Holly Winchell, DVM, is Principal Scientist, Regulatory Affairs and Product Development for Cardinal Health Regulatory Sciences.
Dr. Winchell oversees a regulatory affairs group that focuses on animal health product development and regulatory consulting services as well as providing nonclinical support for human health products.
Dr. Winchell has 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory affairs, medical writing and product development roles for contract research organizations. At Cardinal Health, her experience includes leading the preparation of human and animal health product development strategies, development plans and regulatory submissions. Prior to joining Cardinal Health in 2002, Dr. Winchell served in quality assurance and medical writing roles at Oread Laboratories and Quintiles. Dr. Winchell also practiced veterinary medicine for a small animal clinic in Kansas City, Kansas.
Dr. Winchell is a member of the American Medical Writer’s Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association and has been a panel speaker for the BioKansas One Health summit. Dr. Winchell also maintains an active license in the state of Kansas to practice veterinary medicine.
Dr. Winchell received a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Kansas State University.
