Heather O’Sullivan’s experience spans nearly two decades in clinical, operational and leadership roles serving hospitals and health systems, health plans and home healthcare environments. As a nurse practitioner, she has deep clinical expertise across the care continuum from admission to discharge, as well as alternate sites of care.

As vice president of Clinical Operations for Cardinal Health, Heather works with clinical leaders of large health systems to analyze their clinical protocols and identify areas with the highest levels of variability. With her broad clinical perspective on the evolving healthcare landscape and various models of care, Heather seeks to understand areas of clinical focus unique to each health system and develop customized solutions to help them improve patient outcomes and reduce the cost of care.

She is a member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Boston-based Women in Healthcare Management.
