[1997][Lecture Series]What Do The Numbers Mean?

After conducting a research project and gathering data, the next step is presentation of the results and analysis of that data, using the appropriate quanitative or qualitative analysis methods. This presentation will discuss presentation of results and the best way to display the data pictorially (graphs, charts, tables, etc.). Also included in the discussion will be how to determine whether or not results are clinically and/or statistically significant, and whether or not there was a difference between or among treatment groups. Finally, participants will practice their skill in critical interpretation of a research paper through the use of case studies.
