Customer Appreciation Night – Friday, July 25
Universal Orlando
What’s that? Over there? It’s Universal Orlando, right in the backyard RBC! For our Customer Appreciation Night, all RBC participants will be invited to attend a getaway to Universal Orlando. After seeing the opposition, plotting to conquer the challenges and becoming equipped with the tools to create a hopeful future at RBC, we know you’ll enjoy a fun-filled time to celebrate.Participants will be provided with transportation to and from Universal Orlando and given passes to visit both the Universal and Islands of Adventure parks. After a great afternoon in the parks, you’ll have dinner at CityWalk with other participants and Cardinal Health team members from your region at restaurants like Pat O’Brien’s® Orlando, Bob Marley’s – A Tribute to FreedomSM, Latin Quarter™ and more. The night is sure to be exciting and fun for all!
Final Night Gala – Saturday, July 26
Keynote Speaker: Pat Williams
Cardinal Health is very excited about having Pat Williams, the Senior Vice President of the NBA’s Orlando Magic, which he co-founded in 1987, as this year’s keynote speaker. Through his efforts, 23 of his teams have been in the NBA play-offs and five have played in the finals. Pat was named one of the 50 most influential people in NBA history in 1996. To date, 29 of his former players have become NBA assistant or head coaches.Pat and his wife Ruth are the proud parents of 19 children, including 14 adopted from four nations. Pat is a fierce athlete, competing in 38 marathons in the last ten years and climbing Mt. Ranier.
Pat has written numerous books, with titles clearly illustrating his motivational abilities, including, “Coaching Your Kids to be Leaders”, “Who Wants to be a Champion?” and “The Magic of Teamwork”. Final Night Gala: Michelle Branch
Grammy-award winning singer, songwriter and guitarist Michelle Branch will perform live on the final night of RBC 2008! Her songs have made a huge impact on the music world, with singles like “Goodbye to You,” “Everywhere,” “Are you Happy Now?” and “All You Wanted” becoming top hits.Michelle was the lead vocalist in “The Game of Love” with Carlos Santana, which earned her a Grammy.
With an eclectic mix of musical influences, Michelle is a unique performer who is sure to delight all during the Final Night Gala!
