 Advancements
in product engineering
Scientific
and Production Products offers the industrys broadest line of gloves made
of natural latex as well as synthetic materials. We also offer glove-management
educational programs, helping professionals enhance safety and control costs.
Awarded the 2006 Controlled Environments Experts' Choice Award for Sterile Glove
Platform by Controlled Environments Magazine. Scientific and Production Products
is also a leader in producing gloves for use in cleanrooms, pharmaceutical manufacturing
and research laboratory markets.
Cardinal Health is known for driving the
creation of best-in-class product technologies. Over the years, we have proudly
introduced advanced, protective platforms, technologies and materials that have
impacted the industry... Microfiber composite technology Cardinal
Health created a revolutionary nonwoven apparel fabric technology developed to
provide exceptional barrier protection without sacrificing breathability and comfort.
Microfiber technology can be found in our OPTI-MAX® FT and SmartGown
protective apparel lines. Glove triple-dip bonding technology Our
revolutionary triple-dipped glove manufacturing technology has enabled us to produce
gloves with three distinct layers. The outer layer of natural rubber latex offers
a soft feel, greater elasticity and high-tensile strength. The middle layer is
a specially formulated blend of synthetic nitrile and natural rubber latex that
bonds the inner and outer layers and maintains its performance integrity. The
inner layer, closest to the hand, is synthetic (nonlatex) nitrile for outstanding
durability and effortless donning. This triple-dip technology can be found in
our Sterile Protegrity® CP cleanroom gloves. Synthetic polyisoprene
glove technology Our proprietary polyisoprene engineering technology has
enabled us to produce a synthetic glove with a chemical molecularity identical
to natural rubber latex. Our polyisoprene gloves are 100% synthetic but are much
more comfortable than traditional, stiff alternatives to natural rubber latex.
This synthetic polyisoprene glove technology is found in our Sterile Esteem®
CP cleanroom gloves. Clinically proven emollient glove coating
technology After years of research, a recognized team of Cardinal Health
scientists created a special glove coating formula that is clinically proven to
improve the condition of your skin, while wearing the protective gloves. Neu-Thera®
emollient actually protects hands from moisture loss while restoring hands' smooth
texture for deep-down relief. This clinically proven emollient is found in our
Esteem® nitrile gloves with Neu-Thera® formulation and Positive
Touch® latex gloves with Neu-Thera® formulation. Advanced
"stretchy" nitrile glove formulation technology Our unique "stretchy"
nitrile glove formulation conforms to the hand and fits similarly to natural rubber
latex. This stretchy nitrile formula provides all the strength and protection
of a nitrile glove with a much greater range of motion, especially around the
thumb area. This stretchy nitrile glove technology is found in our Esteem®
nitrile gloves. |
