Each DuraBlue™ sterilization wrap basis weight (CH100 – CH600) is double-layered, with a securely bonded seal on three sides, and made with non-woven 100% polypropylene SMS technology for superior strength and microbial protection.

Indications for use

DuraBlue™ sterilization wrap has been granted 510(k) clearance from the FDA with indications for use with the following sterilization modalities:

  • Pre-vacuum steam through Premarket Notification K112211
  • The Johnson & Johnson STERRAD® 100S Sterilization System through Premarket Notification K112283
  • STERIS Amsco® V-PRO™ via Premarket Notification K112918 for indications for use with the Lumen, Non Lumen and Flexible Cycles in the STERIS Amsco® V-PRO™ 1, Amsco® V-PRO™ 1 Plus and Amsco® V-PRO™ maX Low Temperature Sterilization Systems

Cardinal Health is planning to gain clearance from the FDA shortly for using additional sterilization modalities with DuraBlue™ sterilization wrap, including 100% ethylene oxide sterilization. As Cardinal Health gains 510(k) clearance to use DuraBlue™ sterilization wrap with this sterilization modality, customers will be provided with additional information.

 

*Spunbond/Meltblown/Spunbond (SMS): Consists of meltblown polypropylene between layers of spunbonded polypropylene. It is strong, fluid resistant, breathable and provides durable protection.
