The CareFusion^® suite of positive patient identification (PPID) applications from Cardinal Health offers both standard and custom reporting capabilities.

Our software is designed for compatibility with Crystal Reports^® or any other third-party SQL Server-compatible report writer tool. And, embedded functionality enables you to export administration event information to Microsoft Excel^® spreadsheets.

All CareFusion^® applications have standard reporting capabilities; many offer additional reporting features.

• CareFusion^® Medication Administration features a detailed electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR), a missed medication report and a report that tracks when a medication is manually entered rather than scanned.
• CareFusion^® Specimen Collection Verification features a number of special reports that can help improve specimen collection efficiency (eg, reporting of the number of collections per collector ID). These reports permit a review of reasons for incomplete collections and an opportunity to optimize staffing or adjust workloads. Patient wait-time reports assist outpatient facilities in adjusting staffing to meet demand.

• CareFusion^® Nursing Data Collection enables reporting of vital signs and input/output validation.
