We’re committed to providing philanthropic support to qualified organizations dedicated to enhancing patient safety and quality of care or to improving the quality of life in the communities in which our employees live and work.

Please note: Grant application links have been disabled. The Cardinal Health Foundation is in the process of reformatting our philanthropic goals to align with the company's mission to make healthcare safer and more productive. Please watch this website for further details about the topics of interest and geographic locations. Program criteria will be communicated in mid-July. At that time, links to letters of intent will be posted under the respective funding areas. Letters of intent must be submitted no later than August 29, 2008 for consideration.

Frequently asked questions

I didn’t pass the eligibility quiz. Why not?

The quiz questions are designed to make sure that an organization fits the criteria of Cardinal Health’s and the Cardinal Health Foundation’s programs. If you received a message that your proposal does not meet the funding guidelines, we are sorry, but we will be unable to provide support to your organization.

After saving my application, how do I return to review, edit and submit the funding application?

If you would like to save your application and complete at a later time, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the button Save & Finish Later. You will be asked to enter an email address and password. You will receive an automated confirmation email providing you with a link to use to return to the application and your My Account page. When you are ready to complete the application, you will need to click on the link provided in the email or click on the ‘complete a previous application’ link on the Cardinal Health ‘Apply for support’ page and enter your email address and password.

Can I return to the original link to access the application?

No, accessing that link will start a new application. You must login to the My Account page to continue the original application.

I have entered my email address and password and still cannot access my application or My Account page.

Please double check your entries to make sure that you have not misspelled anything. Make sure that you are using the same email address you used to initially login and create your account.

I have logged into my account and my application is not listed.

If your application is not found, you did not save the application properly and you will need to start a new application.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

You will need to access the account login page. If you’ve created an account when you either submitted or saved an application, you should have the email with the account URL. You can also access the account URL on our website. Select ‘Complete a previous application’. On the login page, there is a link that says “Forgot your password? Click here.” You will receive an email, to the email address you entered at the time you submitted or saved the application, with your password.
