They have a protective sheath that covers the blade, safeguarding against accidental cuts when removing the scalpel from the package, while passing the scalpel and when disposing of the scalpel. Scalpels feature a Personna Plus® blade with MicroCoat® edge, which reduces drag and can help lessen tissue trauma. Nonsterile scalpels 73-1810, 73-1811 and 73-1815 are bulk packed.
