Bard® Brand PerFix® Plug
(Davol) For the treatment of all primary and recurrent indirect and direct inguinal hernias, the PerFix® plug provides significant advantages over a conventional suture technique, requiring less overall dissection and resulting in increased patient comfort, fast rehabilitation and low recurrences. The tapered shape of the plug eases insertion into the hernia defect, while the preshaped onlay patch accommodates the anatomy of the inguinal canal. The ready-to-use plug design minimizes any need to tailor preoperatively. Standard size onlay patch measures 1.80” x 3.5” (4.6 x 8.9cm).
