ISOSORB® Solidification Solutions

(Microtek) Use these solutions to solidify and encapsulate the contents of suction canisters, basins, kick buckets and spills. They rapidly encapsulate large volumes of blood, blood components and fluids with wide ranges of pH and electrolyte concentrations. The solutions eliminate emptying the collection unit and transporting biohazardous waste in fluid form, and they minimize the risk to health-care workers of exposure to biohazardous fluids. Available with a multidose dispenser or a SAF-T-TOP™ dispenser closed-system that helps speed solidification and helps eliminate the need on most suction canisters to open the pour spout.
