TIELLE Hydropolymer Adhesive Dressings

(Ethicon Inc.) These dressings act as fluid handling systems and are indicated for partial- and full-thickness venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, surgically debrided wounds, second-degree burns, donor/graph sites and acute wound healing by primary or secondary intention. As exudate is absorbed by the dressings, the hydropolymer central island swells and fills any irregular contours to the wound, minimizing exudate build up and the chance of maceration. The excess moisture is held in the wicking layer next to the polyurethane backing. The vapor permable backing allows excess moisture to evaporate through the back of the dressing. Choose from TIELLE hydropolymer or TIELLE Plus hydropolymer dressings. Dressing JJ2443 is sacrum shaped.
