ASC Preferred Elite Program


All Cardinal Health™ Brand products and services that carry the Cardinal Health name or are trademarked are eligible, including the following:

  • Cardinal Health™ Brand products and services
  • Presource® Products and Services
  • Optifreight® Logistics
  • Patient recovery products
  • Cardinal Health supply solutions

* Not included: Cordis products, Cardinal Health at Home, National Brands, equipment as set forth on leases

OptiFreight is currently the only service eligible for ASC Preferred, and billings contribute towards a customer’s Cardinal Health™ Brand spend total, and thus, towards their rebate.

There are two basic requirements that each customer must meet in order to qualify for a Base Spend Rebate, but once these requirements are met, you’ll earn a rebate back on all the eligible Cardinal Health™ Brand products and services purchased. Those requirements are:

  1. Cardinal Health™ Brand annual spend of at least $150,000
  2. Mix Percentage above 40%

There are three basic requirements that each customer must meet in order to qualify for the Growth Rebate:

  • Cardinal Health® Brand Annual Spend of at least $100,000 ($150k for ASC Preferred Elite)
  • Product Mix Percentage above 40%
  • Incremental increase in spend of current rebate period version the previous year’s matching rebate period

This means that if you spend more this year than you did last year, you earn a percentage of the incremental increase in year over year spend back in the form of a rebate.

Please contact your AmbCare rep to begin the process of signing up for ASC Preferred. The sales team will decide eligibility based on program and annual sales requirements. If requirements are met your sales rep will assist you in filling out an electronic Letter of Participation for the program.
