Heavy incontinence is characterized as the regular loss of the entire contents of the bladder. If you have heavy incontinence, it is probably difficult to get to the bathroom in time to empty your bladder when you have the sensation to urinate. Or it is possible that you do not feel the sensation to urinate at all. Heavy incontinence may be the result of permanent damage to the spinal cord, an infection, medication or mobility issues.
Heavy incontinence may also be called transient incontinence, urge incontinence or functional incontinence.
